Robson History Prize The Robson History Prize is an annual competition for Year 12 or Lower 6th students. The Prize was established in 2007 in memory of the historian Robert Robson, who was for many years a Fellow and Tutor at Trinity.
The Latino History Essay Competition was founded in 2011 by the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at UT-Austin and became part of UIL Academics beginning in the 2012-2013 school year. During the first year of the competition, it was open only to students in South Texas.

For my entry to another essay contest I've read about ten books on the subject previously - not for the essay specifically though. For that one I am about 300 words in and I'm sure the limit is 4000 words which is good as I have barely started For this one am just sorting out my reading list and have my argument plan ready, not much reading done at all yet!
